Summer Going, Going ... Gone

It’s incredible to think we are in the final week of summer school for the Missouri Basketball program. It actually seems like yesterday we were flying home from Buffalo, N.Y. after the NCAA Tournament and after next week the athletes will have a chance to head home for a few weeks before returning in August for the start of another school year.

Missouri had great turnout on campus once again this summer. Everyone able to participate in the off-season conditioning program was here on campus. HERE is a great off-season conditioning story written by the Columbia Tribune’s Steve Walentik.

You want another crazy stat? It’s just 44 days until the Mizzou-Illinois Arch Rivalry Game in St. Louis. Wow, where does the time go?

While many of Missouri’s newcomers are already on campus, one guy expecting to arrive in August is junior college stud Ricardo Ratliffe. Ratliffe was named the Male Athlete of the Year for all sports in NJCAA… a great honor when you consider the fact the #1 player in this year’s MLB draft was a guy named Bryce Harper from the College of Southern Nevada.

And of course last but not least, here is the link to Kim English’s interview with KFRU’s closers. The interview took play last Friday. Enjoy
